Democrats apologise to Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton favouritism claims

Bloomberg has been sharply critical of Trump, and in particular of his fellow New Yorker’s inflammatory rhetoric on immigration.

For Democrats who spent last week throwing stones at Republicans’ troubled convention in Cleveland, the scene was a painful reminder of their own glass house.

“This election and every election is about who will have the power to shape our children for the next four or eight years of their lives”, she said.

The statement was not signed by the ousted DNC head, Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

It was unclear whether Wasserman Schultz would have a speaking role at the convention.

It was the first joint interview that Clinton and her new choice for the vice presidential nomination, Sen. It will start on Friday, after a rally in Philadelphia, and continue through the weekend, and take the Democratic ticket through Harrisburg, Pittsburgh, Youngstown and Columbus. Tim Kaine, accepting Hillary Clinton’s invitation to join her as running mate, cited as an inspiration a Holocaust survivor who died protecting others during a shooting massacre.

“On his worst, worst, worst day, Tim Kaine is 100 times better than Donald Trump will ever be”, Sanders said. “And look, most of us stopped the name-calling thing about fifth grade”.

When Clinton and Kaine debuted in Miami on Saturday, Clinton said, “I have to say, Senator Tim Kaine is everything Donald Trump and Mike Pence are not”. “I’m going to talk about what he’s done, how he has hurt people in business time after time after time”, she said.

Solomon said he believes a “vast majority” of Sanders delegates support these kinds of protests to express their dismay.

Asked if he is ready to be president, Kaine said: “I’m ready first to be a supportive vice president so that the presidency of Hillary Clinton is is a fantastic one”.

“A compromise of this nature is something we take very seriously, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation will continue to investigate and hold accountable those who pose a threat in cyberspace”, it said.

St. Elizabeth’s is a majority black church in Richmond’s Highland Park area.

As members of the church filed out after the mass wrapped, parishioner Alvin Strother came out wearing a Clinton-Kaine button. The leaked emails prompted primary runner-up Bernie Sanders to call for Wasserman Schultz’s immediate resignation.

“I seem to be the only unifying theme that they had”, the presumptive Democratic nominee said.

Warren is known for her fiery edges, particularly when going after Wall Street and big banks, and is a favorite of the party’s liberal base.

That effort comes as Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz announced Sunday her plans to resign her post after leaked emails revealed DNC staffers favoring Clinton in the primary between the former secretary of state and Sanders as well as Wasserman Schultz’s own comments critical of Sanders’ top strategist.

“I’m not shocked, but I’m disappointed” by the exchanges in the emails, Sanders told ABC’s “This Week”.

Sanders said the 19,000 emails published by the website Wikileaks appeared to confirm his suspicions.

Sanders pressed for Rep.

On the tour this week, Clinton and Kaine will likely argue that a Trump-Pence administration would be unsafe to working class voters.

Clinton’s campaign manager, Robby Mook, tried to shift blame for the email hack away from DNC officials and onto “Russian state actors” who, he said, may have breached DNC computers “for the objective of helping Donald Trump”, the Republican presidential nominee.

Trump’s campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, agreed, saying Sanders’ supporters “have a lot to complain about”.
