The four-state swing will mark the first time Trump and his vice presidential nominee campaign at each other’s side since Trump called on the IN governor to join him on the Republican ticket just before the Republican National Convention last week. She said it was “troubling” that other Sanders supporters booed speakers at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

In televised interviews Sunday, the Vermont senator said the emails proved what he knew was true: The DNC planned to support former Secretary of State Clinton from the start.

“I often feel like there’s the Hillary standard and then there’s the standard for everybody else”, she said. Her leadership of the DNC has meant that we had someone who brought Democrats together not just for my re-election campaign, but for accomplishing the shared goals we have had for our country. Tim Kaine, D-Va., as her running mate.

Asked about Kaine on CNN’s “State of the Union”, he added: “Are his political views different than mine?”

“I sure wasn’t a missionary teaching English to poor people in Central America, and I doubt most of the lefties now outraged by his pick were either”. Clinton said “it felt very sad” to see. “Yes, I would have”. It takes 2,382 to win the Democratic nomination. The billionaire businessman unleashed a barrage of attacks against Clinton in light of the latest scandal to overshadow her run for office, accusing her of disloyalty for not protecting outgoing Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz following the release of hacked emails that suggest some DNC staffers favored Clinton over Sanders. And the people who were speaking were painting a picture of our country that I did not recognize ― you know, negative, scapegoating, fear, bigotry, smears.

But party disunity also seems to be a factor in Philadelphia, given Sanders’ demands for a new leader and general unhappiness among his many supporters about how the nomination process unfolded. Clinton and President Barack Obama both quickly praised the departed party chief.

However, Clinton is relying heavily on the fact that Donald Trump is her opponent as a way to prevent former Sanders supporters from voting against her. Kaine is also fluent in Spanish and Catholic, which is expected to help the Clinton campaign as it attempts to gather votes from Hispanic Americans. He said there is talk among Sanders’ delegates of walking out during Kaine’s acceptance speech or turning their backs as a show of protest. But Sanders’ aides reached out to the Clinton campaign Monday afternoon to express concerns that the chairwoman’s ouster wouldn’t be enough to keep supporters from disrupting the convention, according to a Democratic official.

He said that the group – which includes almost two-thirds of Sanders’s delegates – was approaching potential challengers and had until Wednesday morning to find someone.

“I want someone with the proven strength to persevere, someone who knows this job and takes it seriously, someone who understands the issues a president faces are not black and white”, Mrs. Obama said on the opening night of the Democratic convention.
