“How will you describe the political situation in Bihar other than as instability when you get three chief ministers in 25 months?” “What happened to it?” senior Bihar ministers Vijay Chaudhary and Bijendra Prasad Yadav told reporters.
Crying “betrayal”, Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal United-Rashtriya Janata Dal alliance will flag in a big way in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections the denial by the Centre of special category status to the state.
“Modi had promised to accord special status to Bihar during his Lok Sabha campaign in the state”.
Mr. Sushil Kumar Modi imposed which the occurrences of forklift, seizure and torture had elevated diverse in a final year.
However, he had to eat his own words when he had to receive the visiting Prime Minister at Patna airport recently, Das said sarcastically. “The train he flagged off would run only when people would place demand for it like they do to book a train for marriage or some other special occasion”, Kumar, who himself served as Railway minister during the A B Vajpayee led NDA regime, said. The committee suggested splitting states into three categories and subsumed the previous special category criteria for providing special assistance to poorer states.
“The museum would house rare statues and sculptors available at the (old) Patna Museum and those around the capital and would be inaugurated on Bihar Divas (March 22), 2015”, Kumar had said, while laying its foundation stone.
Socio-political analyst Soroor Ahmed said the BJP would find it hard to counter Nitish Kumar’s demand. After a series of consultations, it has been decided to shift antiquities right from the prehistoric era to AD 1760 from Patna Museum to the new one, said an official.
BJP presented the Kumar government’s performance report card in the form of a cartoon pamphlet.
