Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak announced Tuesday night that Murphy remains on the Denver practice squad, but he is being sent home after being questioned by San Jose police.
The sting operation came from Santa Clara County’s human trafficking task force.
Let’s hope this is the only off the field issue the Broncos have to deal with during the build up to Super Bowl 50.
Broncos safety Ryan Murphy has been questioned in a San Jose prostitution sting that took place Tuesday night.
Ten men were cited and released and 20 females acting as prostitutes have been offered county resources, according to the sheriff’s department. After being waived by the Seahawks in September, the Broncos added him to their practice squad in November.
According to sources, the woman informed police that she needed to go to her auto to retrieve property.
Deputies determined Murphy’s brother was connected to the sting, and he was cited and released, Jensen said.
Murphy was inside that vehicle along with his brother. Murphy is a Bay Area native and attended Oakland Technical High School.
If only Eugene Robinson was a broadcaster for the Broncos instead of the Panthers, the Broncos might not be dealing with an embarrassing story.
