Denver Broncos release preseason schedule

In a somewhat unusual move, the National Football League not only matched the Rams with two of their regular-season opponents (New Orleans and Oakland) but also sent them on two long road trips. For the third August in a row, Tampa Bay will spend its first two weeks on the road, heading to Nashville in Week Two to take on the Tennessee Titans.

Some NFL news that breaks from the rush of draft season has been announced on Wednesday.

One familiar opponent on the Bills preseason schedule each year will not appear. After the Bills and Bengals swapping much of their rosters, it will be fun to see the two square off in week three of the preseason.

The schedule features home games against the Los Angeles Rams and Washington Redskins, and road contests at the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins.

Game 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (weekend of August 16-19).

Note: Times for the Ravens’ preseason games will be set at a later date.

The Texans haven’t faced the Rams in the preseason since 2006, when Houston won 27-20. This will be the 13th time in the last 15 years the Cardinals have played the Broncos in the preseason finale.

Instead, the Steelers and all other teams only need to get from 90 players to 53 on September 1. San Francisco will close out preseason play as they host the Los Angeles Chargers at Levi’s Stadium.
