Denver Broncos v. Los Angeles Rams NFL football game tonight

All week Gary Kubiak has made it clear that Trevor Siemian will be the Broncos starting quarterback. It is the most important game of the preseason as it serves as a dress rehearsal for the regular season with the starters taking the majority of the snaps in the game.

Lynch had his struggles in relief of Siemian, going just 6-of-13 for 57 yards but he did abstain from turning the ball over for the first time all preseason. He was also intercepted once when it wasn’t really his fault but had another interception dropped. Not exactly the results the kid was looking to have. “Does that mean I’m going to (name a starter) tomorrow or Monday? We did some (shotgun) stuff, so we changed it up a little bit and it worked”. For Sanchez to make the team, he needs to clearly separate himself from Siemian, Lynch, or both.

If that happens and Lynch comes in to play most of the second half, we will be witnessing the end of the short-lived Sanchez experiment.

Siemian’s night ended there, with a final line of 10-of-17 passing for 122 yards, one touchdown, one interception and a 76.1 passer rating. He was sacked one more time after the rocky start.

“I still want to know what our guys know without having to try to scheme somebody else”, Zimmer said.

“I have to continue this evaluation process and decide what I think is best for the team”, Kubiak said. Since the likes of Tom Brady, Russell Wilson and Cam Newton seems to be in control of their team, it appears that only one football squad is in dire need of the services of Michael Vick: the Denver Broncos. “He’s played a lot of football”, Kubiak said. The Ram defense only gave up 299 total yards and held the Bronco offense to a 26% third down efficiency ratio. They’ve been battling and I think they’re getting better.

On the ensuing drive, Siemian quickly got to work, finding Thomas on the left sideline for a 10-yard completion and then Sanders on the right for 17 yards. “That’s what he’s learning”. “Rookie Paxton Lynch followed Siemian into the game as the Broncos” No. 2 quarterback and Mark Sanchez did not play.

The Broncos must trim their roster from 90 to 75 players by Tuesday, and Mark Sanchez’s spot is now in jeopardy.

The collective 2016 offense, despite murky picture being painted at quarterback, will set out to prove they’re not reliant upon on the defense anymore.

He started the day slow but picked up steam in the second quarter and went into halftime leading all rushers with 11 carries for 50 yards. “That was never happening. When we came out, before we went out, he told me I was going to get the whole second half”.
