ONE person is thought to have died and several injured after multiple shootings and stabbing at a bike show in Denver, Colorado, US.

According to police spokesman Sonny Jackson, two people have been shot and one person stabbed; no information has yet been released about the severity of any victims’ injuries. She couldn’t say whether any gangs were involved. The emergency department of the hospital briefly went into lock down as a precaution following the shooting.
Paramedics have conveyed at least nine people to hospital.

Police filled the parking lot and people who left the show and crossed the police tape were not allowed back into the building, the paper said. The witness asked to remain anonymous because of fear of retaliation, the newspaper said. Denver Health, a health care organization in the area, reported a higher number, and said it was temporarily on lockdown after the incident.
