Depleted Juventus looking for Manchester City scalp
English football club Manchester City’s midfielder Yaya Toure believes beating Juventus and guaranteeing top spot in the European Champions League Group D match on Wednesday will get them back in the groove again after Saturday’s crushing home defeat to Liverpool in the English Premier League (EPL).

Depleted Juventus host Manchester City on Wednesday looking for the win that would secure their passage to the last 16 of the Champions League.
With Manchester City already through, Juventus can join them in advancing from Group D with a win in Turin.
“Since I arrived here, the draw in the Champions League has been very tough on City, and we have always drawn great teams in the group stages, teams which got to the semis or the final”, Aguero said.
While Manchester City have started their season brilliantly, and are in the chase for the Premier League title, Juventus seem to be quite far from that in Italy.
Man City have also been plagued by injury troubles recently, with star striker Sergio Aguero only returning on the weekend during the side’s 4-1 thumping at the hands of Liverpool.
“This is a different competition and a different game and we hope to return to our normal performance”.
However, anyone that has watched the club over the years can only file that performance under the “Typical City” category. The two teams, however, will battle it out for top spot in the group that will give them an advantage going into the next round. “But we’ve got to have the mentality that we want to win the competition – that’s the only mentality we can have”, Hart told the Daily Telegraph.
“It was a odd and fake game that we played, and that is the past”.
“Every year the giants of Europe improve, we know how hard it is to win this tournament, but we have won matches at home as well as away, and we have proved that we are very much at home when playing in Europe”.
The reverse came in the absence of City centre-back and captain Vincent Kompany, as well as forwards Wilfried Bony, David Silva and Samir Nasri – all of whom are still sidelined through injury.
“We have very good players who are going to do a lot for us and I think we are on the right path”.
“Without him, we qualified for the last stages of the Champions League, we were top of the table until Saturday and we made the next round of the Capital One Cup but, yes, it will be better for us if he stays fit”.

Juventus have also kept a clean sheet in each of their first two home games in the competition this season.
