Derek Hough may not be singing in the rain this fall, but he will still be dancing with the stars.

Siblings Julianne and Derek Hough are returning to the season 23 of “Dancing with the Stars!”. He most recently won the competition with partner Bindi Irwin on season 21.
“I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason”, Hough, 31, wrote in the Facebook post, which included a video of him dancing shirtless to “Don’t Let Me Down” by The Chainsmokers.
The dancer says that the stage production “is still very much part of my future plans”, but “with my fall schedule freeing up I’m excited to say that I’ll be back on Dancing with the Stars”.
Julianne will once again take a place at the judge’s table, while older brother Derek will dance with the stars. “It’s always great to be back with my DWTS family, coaching, creating and making lasting memories”. It looks like we are going back to the four-judge panel, as she will join Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
As for the pros, it has been confirmed that Lindsay Arnold, Sharna Burgess, Witney Carson, Maks Chmerkovskiy, Val Chmerkovskiy, Sasha Farber, Allison Holker, Jenna Johnson, Gleb Savchenko and Emma Slater are returning.
ET can exclusively confirm that Jana Kramer, Marilu Henner, former Texas Governor Rick Perry and Vanilla Ice are the latest celebrities headed to DWTS.
News that Lochte would be putting on his dancing shoes broke shortly after the Olympian’s controversy in Rio.
The full cast of new celebrities and their pro partners will be announced live on ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday. The names of some of the celebs have already been released, according to Entertainment Tonight, such as actress Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady from the Brady Bunch), Olympic swimmer and gold medal-winner, Ryan Lochte, and singer-songwriter Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. ABC does not comment on casting.
