Clemson sophomore quarterback Deshaun Watson has been named one of three finalists for the 2015 Heisman Trophy.
If you’re using which of the Heisman finalists played against the best defenses as a tiebreaker, McCaffrey gets left in the dust, and Henry and Watson are in a virtual deadlock. If Henry had been stuffed, the Heisman race might be more uncertain, but the fact he kept pace with his breakout year likely means he’s still the favorite.
“The Heisman Trophy has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid and the chance to go to NY as a finalist is incredible, but none of this would be possible without my coaches and teammates”, Henry said in a statement. However, running the football isn’t McCaffrey’s only contribution to the team. Christian McCaffrey is our guy, and he should win the Heisman.

McCaffrey is also fifth in the nation in rushing (142.1 yards per game) and leads Stanford in receptions (41).
