Derrick Rose thinks the Knicks can go 82-0? Noah K
“It’s a new start”.

I do not, however, cosign the idea that they are a super team. “D-Rose has looked extremely good”. I feel rejuvenated, and when you put all that together, when I step on the floor, I really don’t know what to expect. “I’m a person that’s going to play hard and give the game everything that he’s got”.
“What I’m doing right now is just preparing myself for something big”, Rose said. Not only would he ditch the red and black for blue and orange, he will also drop the No. 1 and switch to 25.
Rose’s unusual move comes after a California judge OK’d the woman’s $22 million civil suit against him for trial in October. New York’s stellar offseason has given them as much talent as anyone, so if they can mesh quickly, you could see them grab home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. However, the Knicks aren’t coming off an National Basketball Association title like last year’s Dubs squad that surpassed Jordan’s Bulls team with most wins in a season. I think we have a chance to win every game, and in this league, that’s rare. He will always be The Bulls No.1 to most but for now, he’s No. 25 of the New York Knicks! He wore No. 25 as a player for Simeon High School back in Chicago, in honor of Benji Wilson, whose stellar high school career was cut short by his death in 1984. “Twenty-five is just a new step, and a new step in the right direction”. You got Rose at the point, Courtney Lee at the shooting guard, Carmelo Anthony at the three spot, rising star Kristaps Porzingis at the four, and former Defensive Player of the Year Joakim Noah anchoring the middle.

Rose has missed almost 40 percent of his games since the start of the 2012-13 season, due primarily to multiple knee injuries, so his health will always be a concern.

It’s hard to see this group getting anywhere close to defeating LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers, but it is nice to see Rose feeling better after a long battle with injuries.
