Deshaun Watson: Watson earns high praise from Playoff foe
“That guy is the most significantly dominant player that we’ve played against since Cam Newton in 2010”, Saban said Tuesday during an interview on ESPN’s College Football Live. It is pretty tough to say that the Buckeyes aren’t looking to continue their trolling of Alabama until Nick Saban’s club knocks them down a peg. Last week at SEC Media Days, Saban spoke on the Clemson quarterback.

But Saban said he disagreed with the sportsbooks.
Alabama will be starting a new quarterback in 2016 now that Jake Coker has moved on to the National Football League with the Arizona Cardinals, and only one of the Crimson Tide’s current four candidates to take over has game experience.
Saban also explained the differences between how he handled Taylor’s arrest compared to the May arrests of offensive lineman Cam Robinson and defensive back Laurence “Hootie” Jones. He said in a statement, “We are very disappointed any time a player makes a choice that leads to this kind of behavior”.
It will be Watson’s third year as the starter for Clemson.

“He could get the ball into spaces about like this”, Saban said, holding his hands about a foot apart. This recent comment just adds to the praise that Saban has stated for Watson during the offseason interview rounds.

Against Alabama in early January, Watson accounted for 478 of Clemson’s 550 yards (405 passing and 73 rushing).
