Despite Screening, Protesters Disrupt Trump’s Vermont Rally
Supporters and opponents of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump lined up Thursday for hours clamoring for a seat at a Vermont theatre to hear the Republican front-runner speak.

Trump unveiled a new proposal saying he’ll eliminate gun free zones on military bases and schools before hitting common themes like fixing broken trade deals and building a wall.
Supporters like Leimbach did have to endure Trump’s ridiculing of Sanders as the Republican recounted how he “lost so much respect for Bernie” when the Vermont senator allowed two Black Lives Matter protesters to take his microphone last summer during an event.
Trump on Thursday night also unveiled a new campaign promise: to eliminate gun-free zones. It’s unclear whether Trump also hopes to end gun-free zones in schools in the same way, as he appeared to suggest Thursday night.
Sanders proceeded to repeat several jabs he’s taken at Trump in recent days, including calling him “a pathological liar” and mocking his contention from a couple of years ago that climate change had been created by the Chinese as a way to gain an edge over the United States in manufacturing. “I would love, love, love to run against Donald Trump”. “My first day it will get signed”. “They started yelling at me, telling me to leave and move my sign”.
Many of those denied entry joined more than 500 raucous demonstrators across the street from the Flynn Performing Arts Center, where they chanted, danced to music from a brass band and held banners bearing slogans like “Vermont Trumps hate”. “Who’s going to pay for the wall?” “Everybody said it”, said Trump.
“Oh, would I love to run against Bernie”, he said.
“I came here to see the spectacle and we got the spectacle, so it was worth 4:30 a.m.”, said Mark Conrad, who was first in line for the Trump event in Burlington. Each time, Trump instructed security to usher them out. Bernie! Bernie!” As about half a dozen protesters were walked out, Trump’s supporters responded “Trump!
To limit the crowd, rally-goers with tickets in hand were asked as they entered whether or not they supported Trump.
It seems like Donald Trump, like all other matters of national importance, is dead wrong – and ignorant -about gun ownership.
Those who were not wanted were told by police they’d be trespassing if they stayed. But with Trump in town, he said a lot of people stopped in for a bite to eat. Hes not a career congressman and I really like that about him. Billado said he is inspired by Trumps effort to rid the countrys politics of political correctness.
“If Phish was holding a free concert at the Flynn and gave away 20,000 free tickets, we would cancel the event out of public safety concerns”, Burlington Police Chief Brandon del Pozo told the Burlington Free Press.
Trump had some thoughts on his potential opponents, if he were to win the republican nomination.

“It’s about 10 degrees below zero outside”, Trump said. “I’m taking care of my people, not people who don’t want to vote for me or are undecided”, Trump said in a statement.
