That said, outside of McFadden’s recent surge and Bryant’s return, there hasn’t been much for Cowboys fans to be excited about.

“Romo made a difference; he made a difference”, Mincey said. For most of the game, McFadden struggled to gain consistent yardage, but in the second half, he was able to break off explosive runs of 20 and 35 yards.
While the Dallas Cowboys are better with Romo, it seems as though his prolonged absence effected their season. After that early miscue, Romo and Dez Bryant could be seen jawing at each other as they left the field, surely not an encouraging sign for a team desperate for a semblance of harmony.
