Destiny Emotes Will Launch Today, Here’s a Preview
According to its makers Bungie, the next-gen game won’t be available for two hours between 5pm and 7pm tonight. You may also experience issues with Bungie.net sign-in and the Companion App during the maintenance. Silver is the game’s new in-game currency that can be bought with real-world cash, so after you spend your free gift from Bungie you’ll have to fork over a few more bucks if you want additional emotes or dances.

Destiny emotes will go on sale today courtesy of Evervese company.
As it stands right now, character emotes are the only thing you’ll be able to buy using Silver. Destiny players will pay $4.99 for 500 silver as the base price for the smallest amount, and as the amount purchased increases players will get extra Silver in each denomination.
In light of Iron Banner returning and update 2.0.1 being released for Destiny, Bungie has taken servers offline for maintenance starting at 9 AM PDT.
