Destiny: Rise of Iron Pre-Order Bonus includes Iron Gjallarwing

Do you still play Destiny on the Xbox 360? “We’ll crack open the new Crucible and show you what’s inside”.

“Before the launch of Destiny: Rise of Iron on September 20th, there are a few issues we are fixing”, a message from Bungie reads. Those who haven’t grabbed it within four hours will be logged out with the WEASEL error code, and will have to patch before they can get back in.

“We have less than two months before the borders of the Plaguelands open to you”, Bungie continued. The final expansion for the game will be Rise of Iron.

Stay tuned for more news and updates about the new “Destiny” DLC pack and the game’s upcoming sequel.

Once the expansion is out Bungie will shift its focus on Destiny 2.

Unfortunately for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 users, the new DLC pack will no longer support older generation consoles. It is expected to be revealed sometime next year and may release in 2018. In a recent Bungie blog post, Bungie shared that they celebrated “Bungie Day” on July 7, wherein they “come together as a team to unify around a vision for the future”, a future with “Destiny 2” in sight. The original title lacked content when it first released and some questioned if it was worth $60 at release.

Speaking of Bungie, it seems that the developers are already hard at work for “Destiny 2”, as they should be close to completing the exciting, huge new expansion for “Destiny”, titled “Rise of Iron”.
