Cutler is arguably having his best season of his career and has not thrown multiple interceptions in any game this entire season (knock on wood). Detroit’s linebackers are good at getting upfield and making plays against the run, but the best way to attack them is by throwing to the backs. Meanwhile, the total has gone OVER in four of the Bears’ last five. By that I mean the Bears at home and the Lions on the road.

These two divisional rivals always play one another tough and I don’t expect anything different in this one. And there’s another factor that is not reflected in this pointspread – a spread based on season long results and stats – but is very meaningful in my handicap of this game. “After the season, I know that’s going to be a big deal to see what happens with that”.
