Dez Bryant Listed As Questionable For Cowboys / Seahawks Game

With Joseph Randle ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. Seattle because of an oblique strain and personal matters, it’s good news for the Cowboys that Dez is inching closer to his return.

The Cowboys also spent all week dealing with questions about polarizing defensive end Greg Hardy’s shoving match with special teams coach Rich Bisaccia right after former Dallas return man Dwayne Harris had a winning 100-yard kickoff return in the fourth quarter for the Giants.

The Seahawks have listed left tackle Russell Okung as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys, but at least he’s the only one listed as anything other than probable.

“I think if there’s a restriction, I shouldn’t be out there”, Roethlisberger said.

The Cowboys need to have Bryant back on the field. We’ll take it to game time, so he’s the only questionable at this point. This was probably true, although we did see quite a bit of bubble screens and jet sweeps to Harvin. The injury bug has not been kind to the Cowboys this season, but luckily for Dallas, Bryant may be on track to play against Seattle, which just so happens to be arguably the best defense in the league.

Second-year wide receiver Paul Richardson, the Hawks’ top pick in the 2014 draft who this week practiced for the first time since tearing his ACL in the playoffs last season, may also make it back in time for Sunday’s game. But Seattle preys on weakness at the quarterback position, and Matt Cassel isn’t likely to solve this defense.

Despite making few changes, the Seahawks have struggled off to a rough start in 2015, with a 3-4 losing record. If he doesn’t play that would further deplete an already porous offensive line.

Head coach Jason Garrett said there’s no guarantee the Pro Bowl receiver will be able to return against Seattle this weekend.

They’ve lost four games in a row, and are now in last place in the NFC East. The Cowboys have been in complete disarray without Tony Romo and Dez Bryant, and things just keep getting worse.

“We go with Marshawn”.

Asked about that comment Friday, he didn’t retreat, saying, “I meant what I said”. Whether he plays Sunday when the Titans visit Houston remains to be seen…. Russel Wilson was sacked five times, bringing his season total to a league-high 31. “So you’ll want to watch that because he can’t be in the same playing condition as he would have been had he played all year”.

The Cowboys outgained the Giants by nearly 200 yards, and the 233 yards rushing were their most in four years. Darren McFadden has been elevated to starter, while Christine Michael and Rod Smith are back-ups.
