Dez Bryant won’t play against the Giants in Week 7

After winning their first two games with Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys dropped their last three games, including a 30-6 loss to the Patriots in Week 5. McFadden ran for 152 yards, more than he had run for all season before Week 7, in the Cowboys’ 27-20 loss to the New York Giants.

The Giants came out on top on Sunday but given the unpredictable nature of this team and their season to date, the future remains far from certain. The coverage is going to dictate where the ball goes, so you just got to continue to work at it, stay together. “You know, a little giveback for Dwayne Harris”. “We’ve always been one block away, one man away, but tonight it was blocked perfectly”.

On Thursday Night Football, quarterback Russell Wilson completed 10 of his first 12 passes to impose himself on the game, and finished the game with 235 yards passing. “We definitely didn’t like the way the first game ended”, rookie tackle Ereck Flowers said.

Harris wasn’t the only Giant to step up.

Randle ran the ball twice for 24 yards before leaving the game. On the next drive, it was safety Brandon Meriweather turn for an interception.

Added head coach Jason Garrett: “He’s a National League Football player, and he contributes in a lot of different ways”. “He was showing his passion that we gave up the lead and we needed to fix it”. There were opportunities to strip and we haven’t made the plays. He made his big plays after leaving the game with a bone bruise on a finger earlier. He refused to disclose what was said. It looked like the game was over when Rodgers-Cromartie intercepted a pass intended for Brice Butler. “He kind of had my left arm”. Coming off from a bye week, the Dallas Cowboys have turned to quarterback Matt Cassel, installing him as the starter against the New York Giants. Who could have seen that happening? He’s in the defensive huddle, the offensive huddle, and today he made our special teams huddle.

Few had ever heard of second-year running back Orleans Darkwa from Tulane. He earned each of those yards with a tough running style and carried Cowboys defenders on his 15-yard touchdown run. Allie Sherman, Bill Parcells and Jim Fassel have over 100 wins in their coaching careers, but only Coughlin and Steve Owen were able to reach that mark with the Giants alone; Owen had 153 career victories while coaching the Giants from 1930-1953, while Coughlin is now second with 100, starting in 2004 and still going strong. “I’ve got to do a better job”. The Cowboys were desperate to break their losing streak, while the Giants wanted victory to keep a foot in the divisional playoff race.
