“We were both struggling to time it early on and Shaun was batting beautifully”.

“The only option you are left with is to sit out Ashwin, because Jadeja gives you that option with the batting”.
“For us to take six for 75 in that last 10 overs, was a really good pat on the back for the bowling group (who) did an awesome job again”. At one time though they were under pressure with the asking rate climbing up to seven per over, but they soon came out all guns blazing to unleash a flurry of boundaries. Rohit will wonder how many extra runs he needs to score for his bowlers to defend. “The white-ball wickets at the MCG have been fantastic this year at the MCG throughout the Big Bash”, said John Hastings, the Australian bowling allrounder.
“It will be about if we bowl first, we will try to contain them around 300”. When we were supposed to build pressure, we bowled wides.
On the bowling front, Dhoni has reiterated that he likes the two-spinner combination the most, and he will, in all likelihood, stick to R Ashwin and Jadeja.
Asked how he would motivate the team after two successive losses, Dhoni said, “The morale is up, we’ll just have to play a few more shots”. Find us on Facebook too! Marsh was on 19 at that time and would go on to enjoy three more botched attempts in the field. Ten balls later, Rohit reached his ton and India looked set to score 330 odd. In the first match also Steve Smith and George Bailey set the winning tone for the hosts. Battingwise, everything looks sorted for them. Marsh and Finch didn’t panic and allowed us to play freely at the end.
Citing Bailey’s impressive record against India, Hastings praised the way the 33-year-old adapts his game to suit the conditions on a given day.
“I’m sure (Matthew) Wade and (James) Faulkner will get a hit and do well when they get the chance”.
Rohit Sharma was adjudged the Man-of-the-Match for his hundred. Australia doesn’t have anything much to be concerned about though their bowlers have conceded 300 plus scores in both the matches it still has been in the range manageable for their batsmen.
Hastings is unsure whether he will be picked to play in front of his home crowd but said he was pleased to have contributed in Brisbane, hopefully enough to make selectors think twice about who should make way in order for Marsh to return.
“On a wicket like this and with this outfield, they don’t get any reverse swing as such, so you have to hit the deck hard and you have to consistently hit areas”, he said. “I’m feeling really good with a bit of rhythm which is probably the main reason”. Overall I am pleased with my form, but disappointing not to win.
