Aston Villa manager Roberto Di Matteo expresses his desire to make a winning start to the new Championship season against Sheffield Wednesday.
The newly-relegated Villans will play their first second-tier match for nearly 30 years when they travel to Hillsborough on the opening weekend of the new Championship season.
“It’s a tough start away at Sheffield Wednesday but we’re looking forward to it”, he told the club’s official website.
JORDAN AYEW wants his side to quickly recover from their match-day one defeat at Sheffield as they launch a strong comeback to the Premier League.

Di Matteo, who was sacked by Chelsea the season after landing the Champions League, should give a start to Scottish global striker Ross McCormack, for whom this week he spent £12 million ($16 million, 14.3 million euros) of new Chinese owner Tony Xia’s money to wrest him away from Fulham.

But with more former Premier League sides in the second division than ever before, it might not be as easy as Villa think.
