The Seasons feature in Diablo III is now only exclusive to the PC version of the game, but a recent interview with Blizzard senior game producer Rob Foote suggest that this could change.
Well, the developers have said in the past that consoles and PCs are set up differently in regards to leaderboards and online communities, and consoles generally favor more couch co-op play. With this difference, the Seasons feature was limited to only the PC.
Blizzard have bestowed a sizeable new patch on Diablo 3, adding an item which allows deeper character customisation, a new area called the Ruins of Sescheron, a bushel of balancing tweaks and the like. “We’ll probably go back and revisit that decision”. When a Season ends, the characters are rolled into the player’s roster of non-Seasonal (i.e. normal) characters.
Patch 2.3.0 is also getting a range of tweaks to the core mechanics, the various classes, and their abilities as well as to some items, monsters and crafting options.

It is among Blizzard’s huge patches, using a fresh wasteland to investigate (the Ruins of Sescheron), a fresh artisan enabling players to catalogue their Renowned skills, progression trailing for seasons and new Torment degrees from 7 to 10 (having the very least Paragon amount of 100 ).
