Joy actress and victor Jennifer Lawrence (25) was pilloried for her $52 million (€47.7 million) paycheck and Gervais talked of keeping his own Golden Globe statuette for a door stopper.

“He handed it to me and was like, ‘My movie dad gave this to me and I don’t know why”, Berland said. It was her first nomination and first win. Too early to call it, though.
