Did Amy Schumer just quit her Comedy Central show?
Metzger posted a series of rants on Facebook that mocked the way the women came forward about the incidents and questioned the use of social media to convict accusers. He gets something from going after people, making them mad. “I am just touring”, she continued.

Phew. She also added that on top of her book tour, she’s “doing stand up and focusing on writing more for the next year at least”.
Amy Schumer spoke out against former “Inside Amy Schumer” writer Kurt Metzger and his comments about rape, and hinted at the cancellation of the award-winning Comedy Central show.
Amy Schumer says she won’t be working on her Comedy Central series, “Inside Amy Schumer”, for “the foreseeable future”. When the criticism did not subside, Schumer then added: “Kurt does not work for me. I know because women said it and that’s all I need!”.
Schumer said what saddens her most is the controversy has directed attention away from the real issue: “I would love to refocus the energy and attention on the real problem, which is…about rape”. “Inside Amy Schumer” is not cancelled but Season 5 is not yet coming to Comedy Central.
Amy Schumer, who is now on the road promoting her memoir The Girl With the Lower Back Tattoo, has been defending and condemning a comedian who has written on her Comedy Central show, Inside Amy Schumer. Schumer told Rose that even she butt heads with Metzger in the writers’ room.
It is possible that Schumer only meant that her series is not now in production as she is in the middle of a significant world tour promoting her new book, “The Girl With The Lower Back Tattoo”. I want men to hear what happened so that there’s no confusion, because people have different understandings of what sexual assault is, what rape is.
“Right now there are no plans for the TV show to come back in the near future, so nobody is on my staff”, she explained to Rose.
