And Democrats were the ones faulting Romney for saying that Russian Federation was America’s “No. 1 geopolitical foe”. Without either yet having taken the oath of office (and to say nothing of a whole host of other crucial foreign policy questions: ISIS/terrorism, Iran, Syria, North Korea, China, etc.), each has shown enormous vulnerability to foreign influence. Obama also appeared to embrace the notion that President Vladimir Putin might have been responsible because of what he described as Trump’s affinity for Putin. “You’re supposed to have them in a presidential campaign”.
