Did Republicans or Democrats Have the Better Party Convention?

“It is with humility, determination and boundless confidence in America’s promise that I accept your nomination for president of the United States”, Clinton declared.

Clinton was welcomed with loud cheers as she entered the arena and embraced her daughter Chelsea, who introduced her as the next President of the United States. Chants of “Hillary!, Hillary!”, rang out throughout the arena.

On Thursday morning, Trump’s campaign sent a fund-raising email urging supporters not to tune into Clinton’s acceptance speech on Thursday night. The newly-minted Democratic nominee told the watching world just what America’s future with a female president will be like – and how there may not BE a future if Donald Trump is in charge!

During her speech, Clinton also reached out to supporters of Bernie Sanders, many of whom think she is too moderate. She aimed to draw on an idea that has driven her throughout her career, that all Americans should be given the chance to fulfill their potential, a campaign aide said.

“I want you to know, I’ve heard you”, she said. “Your cause is our cause”. “Now, let’s make it happen together”.

She juxtaposed her message of togetherness with what she claimed was a message of separatism coming from Republican nominee Donald Trump. “That feeling of being valued and loved, that’s what my mom wants for every child”, she said. “Excluded from Hillary Clinton’s America are the suffering people living in our inner cities, or the victims of open borders and drug cartels, or the people who’ve lost their jobs because of the Clintons’ trade deals, or any hardworking person who doesn’t have enough money to get a seat at Hillary Clinton’s table”.

First and foremost, Clinton will be rallying her supporters on the floor of the Democratic National Convention and millions more watching from home, who have already made a decision to vote for her in November. “But we are not afraid”.

She went through her last few responsibilities, touching on her roles as First Lady, a senator from NY and Secretary of State.

“You know, nothing truly prepares you for the demands of the Oval Office”. Trump said at a rally in Denver.

“Through all these years of public service, the “service” part has always come easier to me than the “public” part”. That is the only way we cans turn our progressive platform into real change for America. He pointed to “Radical Islam” and police shootings as the kind of problems the former secretary of state ignored, though the final night of the DNC featured several military officials making the case for Clinton’s national security expertise and remarks from the families of police officers killed on duty.

But she said the nation must keep going until all 161 million women and girls in the country had the opportunities they deserve.

I believe that Wall Street can never be allowed to wreck Main Street again.

“Trump Jr.is correct that both he and Obama both used the single phrase in their speeches, but it is also a line Obama – along with past USpresidents – has used frequently in the past”, NBC News reported. She reminded them of what Obama said the night before, “Don’t boo”. Put your faith in him – and you’ll win big? Poll after poll this year has shown that voters do not find her trustworthy.

But Democrats – from Obama and former President Bill Clinton on down – have spent the past three days hammering away at Trump’s personality and business record. She is the first woman in history to do so. “None of us ever have or can do it alone”, Clinton said. “Instead, help Donald Trump hold her accountable, call out her lies and fight back against her nasty attacks”.
