Ever since the devastating season five finale of Game of Thrones, HBO has spent its time teasing fans about the fate of one Jon Snow.

The network finally released a new trailer for the highly anticipated sixth season today, and it shouldn’t disappoint anyone that has been waiting patiently for new footage from the series.

“I bring back a much-loved character who everybody thinks is dead”.

The trailer is a little over a minute and a half long and gives us tantalizing looks at Dany among the Dothraki, Bran having visions of the Night’s King, and Cersei choosing to take on cousin Lancel and his upstart Sparrows.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Spoilers: Who Might Not Be Dead? .

“I’ve never been much of a fighter”, Davos says at the end of the trailer, as he pulls Jon’s Valyrian sword Longclaw from its sheath, standing beside the fallen Lord Commander’s body. The video hops from morose to intense in the matter of seconds, with all your favorites present, yes even dead Jon Snow (Kit Harington) can be seen in the trailer. We also have drama from Sansa and Theon to look forward to: Last we saw them, the duo escaped from Winterfell and the Boltons by jumping off the castle ramparts into the snow. I filmed some scenes of me being dead – it’s some of my best work. The trailer though suggests that there is something more to Jon Snow and Kit Harrington’s reappearance than a simple corpse cameo.

Next, we see Jaime Lannister tell his sister and lover, Cersei, that they’re going to take back everything that’s been taken from them.
