Digging Into This Massive Apple Inc. iPhone 7 Mystery
But thanks to a TENNA listing, it is finally confirmed that the new iPhone 7 Plus will come with 3GB of RAM. However, Geekbench has not been updated to accommodate the lower-power high efficiency processors in the A10 Fusion chip. It also gives the handset a multi-core score of 5,363.

That’s assuming the benchmark is legitimate, as it could have been faked, but Apple doesn’t usually reveal the amount of RAM in its products, so it’s not so odd that the jump wasn’t highlighted. But in the end, if this rumour comes out to be true, iPhone 7 will be the first device to feature a 3GB RAM in Apple’s device line.
Unfortunately jet black would be available only for the 128 GB and 256 GB models of iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus. Based on the test, it seems that the A10 Fusion processor is underclocked. Previously, Apple infused 4GB in 12.9-inch iPad pro.
Apple revealed it’s next-generation smartphone, the iPhone 7, at a keynote event in San Francisco on Wednesday, boasting an vastly upgraded camera.
The A10 Fusion’s CPU also has four cores, two of which that run up to twice as fast as the iPhone 6. In other words, the iPhone 7 Plus is the longer lasting of the two, presumably because the extra size allowed Apple to fit a larger battery.
In comparison to its predecessor, the new phone performs nearly twice as fast. As usual, Apple announced its latest iPhones with tonnes of new features but didn’t mention the exact amount of RAM inside the device.
One of the rumours ahead of launch was that the Plus would pack 3GB of RAM, but it turns out the gossipers could have been spot on after all.
A device that goes by the name “iPhone9,4”, but is presumably the iPhone 7 Plus, has been spotted in the benchmark database. They will officially launch on September 16, with a price tag of $649 for a 32 GB iPhone 7 or $749 for a 32 GB iPhone 7 Plus.

At £120 more the iPhone 7 Plus is significantly more expensive than its smaller sibling when bought SIM-free and the gulf in contract pricing is likely to be similar, but it’s also clearly the better phone if you can stomach the size. One final note on sound: the new iPhones have stereo speakers for the first time, with sound claimed to be 50% louder than previous, and now emanating from both ends of the phone.
