Dilwale + Bajirao Mastani = Best Bollywood Weekend
Starring Shah Rukh, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in pivotal roles, “Dilwale” is receiving a hearty response overseas, says trade analyst Komal Nahta. Thus with the addition of these three figures, the film managed to score a decent figure over the box office. I’ve been reading messages on social media, and even on ground that there has been activity all over the country, where the film has been stopped, and not allowed.

The business for both films was affected due to protests against their shows in various parts in India.
The answer to the much awaited question “which film has the taken the box office lead between “Bajirao Mastani” and “Dilwale”?’ is here”. The numbers are rising steadily and at an unbelievable rate (for Bajirao Mastani). Till the end of Tuesday, total 5 days collection of Bajirao Mastani is calculated as 66.47 crores*. There is time and space for both the films. Khan said he has “not said or done anything” for which he should apologise.
“Britain – highest opening for a Bollywood film in 2015”. In the Gulf countries too it was ranked as the number one film ahead of Star Wars.
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who is thrilled with the success of his latest directorial venture Dilwale, says he is planning to watch the film with the audience this Christmas. While the Shah Rukh Khan starrer crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark worldwide in its opening weekend, the historical drama, featuring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, minted Rs.46.77 crore in India in three days. However, this Monday, “Bajirao” left “Dilwale” behind in terms of collection!
