Dimitri Payet helped Watford comeback against West Ham says Troy Deeney

West Ham have warned they could hand life bans to any supporters found to have been involved in crowd trouble during Saturday’s 4-2 Premier League defeat by Watford.

“West Ham unreservedly condemn the behavior of the individuals involved in incidents during today’s fixture against Watford”, West Ham said in a statement.

There is no suggestions that Slaven Bilic is under pressure at West Ham yet, and he should have time on his side. “But we had a couple of opportunities and we adjusted a couple of things at half-time and it went our way”.

After the game was over and West Ham’s bottle job was confirmed, the defender posted a screenshot of the final score on the whistle. We can’t concede that kind of goal then, especially after the second one, it didn’t decide the game but it changed a lot.

On the back of a hard trip to the Etihad stadium, the home side looked to be picking up the winning thread once again after Antonio headed them two goals in front. But there were warnings for West Ham too.

“I decide on the team I have, but I am very happy that Ighalo stayed with us”.

“If we defend like this, we’re not going to win too many games”, the Croatian said. Watford appealed for offside, with some justification, but it was marginal and a goal created by supreme artistry was allowed to stand.

But Watford scored four goals in a 22-minute spell around halftime, starting with Odion Ighalo’s deflected shot in the 41st minute. “They should have to do something better to hurt us”.

Head coach Mazzarri said: “He [Deeney] showed that he has completely understood my mentality but I know the player and he had it even before my arrival”.

“The club now appeals to all supporters to come together and support West Ham in the famous way we have historically been so proud of”.
