Disappointed Democrats still waiting to hear from Hillary Clinton
“I’m afraid for my safety and the safety of those I love”, Clinton supporter Priscilla Alabi said.

She said that the election revealed that the country is more deeply divided that it was first thought following the bruising campaign in the race to the White House.
During the debates, Trump said that Clinton should be jailed, and his crowds regularly chant “lock her up” at his rallies.
Clinton rallied in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina on Monday with help from her highest-profile surrogate, President Barack Obama.
Donald Trump’s tough talk about Latinos and African-Americans failed to send enough voters in these groups into the arms of Hillary Clinton.
Just hours after Donald Trump was named the 45th president of the United States, Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway gave an interview with “CBS This Morning” discussing how Trump’s Democratic foes reacted to the stunning upset. And she pled with the American people for unity at a time of such division.
House Speaker Paul Ryan congratulated Donald Trump on “his big night”.
It appeared to be a gentle jab at Trump, who called for a ban on Muslims during the campaign, and during one presidential debate appeared to threaten Clinton herself with jail if he was president. It was for the entire country. “This loss hurts. But please, never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it”.
Of course, as many Trump surrogates (and some others) have pointed out, Clinton hammered Trump for his refusal to say that he would accept the results of the election.
Analysts believed his campaign suffered a massive blow when the U.S. media unearthed a 2005 video showing him making extremely crude remarks about sexually assaulting women.

Earlier in the day, the Democratic nominee posted a picture of herself with a young girl saying that it doesn’t matter what happens on the results night. Flanked by her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and daughter Chelsea and her husband Marc Mezvinsky, the disappointment and shock were palpable on their faces and in the still-stunned supporters in the room.
