“Miss Universe 2015: Miss Colombia Crowned by Mistake — Miss Philippines is the victor.
Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is breaking her silence on her awkward win after Steve Harvey wrongfully crowned Miss Columbia as the victor!
Despite the giant mess that was the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, Miss Colombia still came out looking like a victor. Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of the Philippines was equally stunned and at a loss of what to do.
We think she handled the situation like a pro!
“To me, our queen is and will remain Miss Universe”. And then Steve Harvey made the walk down the runway.
As of writing, Missosology’s video, titled “Controversial Reaction of Miss Germany”, has been viewed more than 2 million times.
Harvey said he read the wrong name off the ballot he was given.
Miss Philippines did end up receiving the diamond and blue topaz crown, but Miss Germany said she was surprise because none of the contestants voted for her.
#”I feel terrible for this young woman”, he said.
The nearly unbelievable ending to the pageant was televised live in many countries, including on the Fox network in the United States on Sunday night.
And soon after, he had to “correct his congratulations”, later posting, “Adriana Gutierrez, you are still our Miss Universe! It’d be very cool”, Trump said. One prominent post showed his smiling face under the headline: “Happy Friday!” followed by “Wait, sorry, it’s Monday”.
