Disclosure and Lorde release collaborative track ‘Magnets’
English DJ duo Disclosure – the artist behind the hits “Latch” and “Omen”, both featuring Sam Smith – has just released its second album, Caracal. Instead of releasing the year’s best dance record, Disclosure has delivered something, arguably, more impressive – The best pure-pop album of 2015.

Also included on the list is the queen of darkness herself, Lorde who co-wrote and voices Disclosure’s new song Magnets.
We work with a lot of different vocalists and ended up writing about a wide array of completely unrelated subjects so there isn’t one message that runs through every song. I feel pretty adjusted, and I’m at ease with my life now.
“We figured out this interesting concept which I really wanted to write about for a while”.
“I think the majority of songs are around the 100-110 BPM (beats per minute) mark but there’s a huge variety”. The album features a single called “Magnets”, which is a collaboration between Guy Lawrence, Howard Lawrence, and Lorde.
It’s the first thing we’ve heard from Lorde since she contributed to the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt.1 soundtrack a year ago. We just sat down and talked first because we didn’t want to push anything.
Other collaborators on the album include Sam Smith, The Weekend, Swabs, Miguel, Lion Babe and Nao.
