Disclosure “Magnets” (ft. Lorde)
Lorde leaves an illicit lover lasciviously devoted and enflamed in the striking new video for “Magnets”, the New Zealand singer’s collaboration with United Kingdom production duo Disclosure.

It’s dark, it’s steamy and it’s Lorde latest music video. The album features guests incuding The Weeknd and Gregory Porter, as well as the single “Omen” featuring Sam Smith. The Lawrence brothers starred in the truth-seeking “Jaded” as they attempted to gain freedom from the authoritarian ruling class of society.
Lorde took to Twitter to share the release and said, “one of my life goals has always been to one day play a hitgirl who pretends to seduce then burns alive douchey boyfriends”. Is Lorde’s video a bit too scary or do you think it’s just in time for Halloween? She is keenly aware of what appears to be the man’s steady girlfriend, but is looking for the man to leave her for him.

There’s a revenge angle to the vid, with Lorde taking charge of the situation as she sings “let’s embrace the point of no return”. It might be the last thing you do.
