Well, we have a little more insight into Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5 launch as more details spill out.

A well as a reinforced chassis to protect it from bumps and scrapes, the phone sports updated software that enables users to switch between contacts and customisable app edges on the curved screen.

Samsung, however, will push for the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus for the European market.

Both devices will be going on sale later this month and will be available in four colours – White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Silver Titanium – and with a choice of 32GB or 64GB of onboard storage. This is a cut above the S6 Edge’s 5.1-inch screen.

It’s likely that some online retailers will stock the Galaxy Note 5 anyway, but you won’t find the phone from carriers or Samsung, at least not this year. The Galaxy S6 Edge+ is targeted those customers who prefer aesthetics because of which it does not have productivity software of the Note 5. It’s all very unusual.
