Dish Network and Tribune Broadcasting have reached a long-term pact on carriage and retransmission consent.

The agreement means the return of Q13 FOX and JOEtv to DISH subscribers throughout the Northwest, following a months-long blackout during the negotiations process.

The two companies on Saturday afternoon announced a resolution in the bitter dispute over fees, and that signals of Tribune stations would be restored to Dish systems. Dish had complained that Tribune was asking for exorbitant rate increases and was forcing the satellite TV service provider to carry WGN America across its footprint. “Both WGN America and Tribune’s local stations are expected to again be available to DISH customers later today”. Terms were not disclosed. Some Dish customers had expressed concern that, because of the Tribune outage, they might not be able to witness Scully’s final games.
