Rumors have the story of the new restaurant as the place where Skippers work after their cruise shifts.
The new restaurant is expected to open sometime before the busy Christmas Season.
Lively also revealed some of the backstory for the new restaurant. Falls himself was a member of the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.).
Jungle Cruise is one of the original Magic Kingdom attractions, opening with the park in 1971. The new restaurant will feature “World Famous Jungle Cuisine” and be a place where Adventurers can satisfy their adventurous palate.

The cast and director of Disney’s live-action Jungle Book appeared at Disney’s D23 Expo on Saturday to unveil the first trailer for the movie. Skipper Canteen will open later this year in the old Adventureland Veranda space in the Magic Kingdom’s Adventureland. That area, home to a restaurant between 1971 and 1994, has been under construction this summer.
