Disney builds stone wall at lake where alligator killed boy
Work continues at Walt Disney World beach resorts to keep alligators away from guests after a two-year-old boy was snatched from the beach line at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in June.

Workers began construction of the barriers within weeks of the tragedy and should complete the work by October, Disney said in a statement.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Jeff Williamson said the boy was at the edge of the lake, probably about a foot or two into the water, when the alligator attacked. Five alligators were killed in the 16-hour search for Lane.
Lane Graves, 2, has been identified as the victim of a deadly alligator attack outside Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort.
The company responded by putting up rope barriers and warning signs on at the Seven Seas Lagoon, and erecting “no fishing” signs on its other lakefront properties.
The family decided last month not to sue the resort for their son’s death.

“In addition to the foundation, we will exclusively be focused on the future health of our family and we will not be pursuing a lawsuit against Disney”, the couple said.
