Despite the not knowing a whole lot about the flick though, the studio just released the first poster for the the oceanic animated flick and it’s ideal! Check out the first official Finding Dory poster after the jump.

The poster is kept simple as it only shows the back half of Dory with a caption which read, “She just kept swimming”.
Rumours of a Finding Nemo sequel began circling in 2012, and the film was officially announced in April 2013.
On top DeGeneres, Albert Brooks will be reprising his role as Marlin for Finding Dory, while such newcomers to the series include Diane Keaton as Dory’s mom Jenny, Eugene Levy as Dory’s dad Charlie, Kaitlin Olson as Dory’s adopted sister Destiny, Ty Burrell as Bailey and Ed O’Neill as Hank.
And in December Pixar president Jim Morris revealed some details about the movie, saying that it will take place a few months after the events of 2003’s Finding Nemo. The Wire stars Idris Elba and Dominic West will also voice characters for the film.
The sequel showcases a story from Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton, who told the crowd at Disney’s D23 Expo in August that his idea for a follow up came from his own concern about the sweet-natured fish with short-term memory loss.

There’s little to be seen in the poster besides the most integral part of Finding Nemo (and likely Finding Dory): the ocean. “I think we’re going to produce something that, regardless of if you were a “Nemo” fan or not, you’re gonna love this film”, DeGeneres said. Of course, while it will have been 13 years since the release of Finding Nemo when the sequel comes out, it surely won’t be that long on screen in between adventures for Dory, Marlin and Nemo.
