Disney•Pixar Releases Clip of ‘Sanjay’s Super Team’
After wowing audiences with a poignant love tale between two volcanoes prior to Inside Out, it’s Sanjay’s Super Team that will preface the launch of the studio’s prehistoric yarn, and today we have our first concept art depicting the titular character and his superhero dream team. It’s a shame that the short doesn’t come with the video showing the reaction of Patel’s father had after he saw the short for the first time. Half-monkey, half-god, Hanuman – Durga, the goddess of power and protection and the blue-skinned Vishnu, representing preservation.

“Sanjay’s Super Team” opens in theaters on November 25, 2015, in front of Disney•Pixar’s THE GOOD DINOSAUR.
The story revolves around a little boy who prefers to watch superhero cartoons every Saturday morning while his father wants him to pray. Sanjay is absorbed in the world of cartoons and comics, while his father tries to draw him into the traditions of his Hindu practice. No one knows that fact better than director Sanjay Patel, who crafted the short based on his own childhood experiences.
Sanjay Patel and producer Nicole Grindle. However, he is no stranger to the world of Pixar having worked as an animator and a story artist on the likes of The Incredibles, Ratatouille, and Monsters, Inc.
