But this isn’t a critique of what they should’ve cut. The good news is that the sequel is being written and directed by Brad Bird, who also handled both duties on the original and should be sporting some extra motivation after Tomorrowland mostly crashed and burned.

According to Disney·Pixar, the sequel “reunites Dory with friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past”.
Alas, I’m talking about Disney and Pixar’s The Incredibles, a loving FF homage if there ever was one. “I’m very proud of our films”, said Lasseter. They seem more like family members than just creations.
The next film we saw footage from was Finding Dory. In the film, out June 17, 2016, the forgetful Dory (DeGeneres) endeavors to track down her family. While Finding Nemo was wonderful, using the same setup for a sequel just wouldn’t work all that well.
Disney is already taking everyone’s money with its many Marvel superhero movies, but now they’re getting ready to line their pockets with more Pixar films. Unkrich teased that the film was inspired by the idea of learning from your dead ancestors – an interesting premise for sure. The main character is Miguel, a 12-year-old boy who visits the world of the dead.
Pixar’s long-delayed “The Good Dinosaur” will finally be out on November. 25.
And Disney is keeping it in the family.
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s Kaitlin Olson as Destiny – the whale shark who is convinced she’s a whale. It was nice to see these celebrities feeling so passionate about the studio and their slate. For “Toy Story 4, ‘ we are doing a type of story we have not done before: a love story”. Hank (O’Neill) is an octopus who has rehabilitated and is about to be set free in the ocean. Although there was really no thought in the project. Oh well.
In short, if you’re a fan of animated movies and Disney in general, you have a lot to look forward to. Even then friendship and courage could get the most flawed characters through.
