Disney Reveals ‘Incredibles 2′ Release Date

Pixar’s “Cars 3” has been confirmed for June 16, 2017, replacing “Toy Story 4”. Prepare to launch a complaint with star command. Disney made the announcement on Thursday after revealing its new calendar release lineup. Ant-Man and The Wasp doesn’t face any direct competition on July 6, 2018, but it will hit theaters one week after How to Train Your Dragon 3 on June 29, 2018 and a week before an untitled 20th Century Fox/Marvel production.

COCO is another new Pixar film on the way, announced to occupy November 22, 2017, and Disney Animation is going to bring very big to theaters on March 9, 2018, so there are a couple other films in the works to keey an eye out for.

Finding Dory, the follow-up for 2003’s Finding Nemo, will complete the Pixar month-of-June stranglehold with a June 17, 2016 release date. “We are sure Canal+ audiences in France will thoroughly enjoy a greater variety of Disney’s much loved characters and gripping, emotive storytelling wherever, however and whenever they wish, across a portfolio of programming that includes a fantastic slate of feature films and television series”. Disney Movies on Demand gives viewers access to animated and live-action Disney classics and Disney/Pixar titles such as Cinderella and Robin Hood, Cars, Monsters, Inc. and Toy Story.

Canal+ Group has renewed its deal with Disney Media Distribution for exclusive first run and SVoD rights to Disney movies.

In addition to some shifts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney’s cartoon and fairy tale world is also seeing some reshuffling as a few mystery projects are added to the lineup.
