I’ve got to say, I’m excited that the Sooners of the University of Oklahoma, one of my alma maters, is in the college football playoffs tonight. It was great. It felt like a return to what New Year’s Day is supposed to be. This year’s playoff games were played on New Year’s Eve, a decision that has been scrutinized for much of the past year because New Year’s Eve is a day most people don’t spend watching television. You just have to look for it.
