It was the first time LSU wore white helmets since a 2011 game against Auburn. It’s a bright combination, you have to wonder how it would look under the lights.

LSU’s sophomore running back scored his first touchdown of the season with about five minutes left in the first quarter. “My job is to make one or two guys miss and get up the field”. Harris did not throw an interception either, showing there is potential for LSU’s passing game to get the job done as well. On the drive, Harris completed a 26-yard pass to Dupre to the Carolina 23. In this game, LSU had two 100-yard rushers. South Carolina flags fluttered on the video board, and USC – as the “home” team – ran onto the field first, accompanied as usual by “2001” over the sound system.
Neither played a snap during the game. That was the last time they led, and the only points the offense would provide in the opening half.
Amazingly classy. Hopefully, Fournette’s gesture of good will doesn’t violate a few inane NCAA by-law. The result created a novelty feel, as Tiger Stadium was less than half full. The Gamecocks were outclassed and outplayed for most of the day.

For the game, Fournette finished with 158 yards on 20 carries with the scoring run. “People of Louisiana not only care, but know first-hand what you in South Carolina are going through”.
LSU had earlier said it believed it could assist Fournette in auctioning the jersey without jeopardizing his amateur status. “They’ve offered us food, drinks, and if we didn’t have tickets they were going to give us tickets, but we bought a few before we came down”, George Durham said.
The defense responded by holding the Gamecocks to a three and out on their next drive. Moore left the game in the first quarter with a thigh injury. The Tigers amassed 624 yards of offense en route to a 45-24 victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks. LSU defeated South Carolina 45-24.
Guice, a Baton Rouge and Catholic High native, rushed for a career-high 162 yards on 16 carries on Saturday. The Gators’ defense took advantage of Lock and a porous offensive line, sacking him twice and hurrying him three more times. Josh Boutte filled in for Teuhama and had an excellent game all around. He was joined by senior tight end Dillon Gordon, who was day-to-day since injuring his Achilles against Auburn on September 19.
Perhaps the most meaningful adjustment to the game was the hardest one to spot. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. Connecticut on ESPN. The two combined for 319 rushing yards on 36 carries and two touchdowns.
The stats don’t tell enough of the tale here at all. “All in all, we’re glad to be 5-0 and look forward to playing Florida in the next event”. “Perry made a lot of good plays”. Rather than jeers of “tiger bait” from the purple-and-gold-clad masses, Gamecock supporters were treated to hugs and comforting conversations.
