Salcedo told KTLA that her daughter, who is three months’ pregnant, attempted to tell the customer that the straws were in her paper bag, but was unexpectedly attacked.
Salcedo said the customers dragged her daughter from the drive-thru window out to the parking lot. Salcedo assured that the experience was frightful and that no parent should ever get a call like that.
“That’s another reason why these people need to be caught, they need to be held accountable, you were upset over 50-cent straws, but you’re going to pay for these medical bills”, Salcedo said.
That’s apparently when, according to police, Repine was pulled through the drive-thru window by two black females while another got out of the vehicle and all three attacked her.
According to witnesses, the assailants drove to the drive-thru window in a purple Dodge Charger on Sunday where an argument between the group and 19-year-old Tori Repine devolved into a violent confrontation, ABC 13 reported. The footage contradicts both the victim’s and a witness’ statement to police that Repine was pulled out by the attackers and fell to the ground.
The injuries Repine sustained were enough to send her to the emergency room at a local hospital.
It happened late Sunday afternoon.
Salcedo explained that the sight of her daughter at the hospital is something she will never forget. He said he has had drinks thrown at him, and has seen coworkers get robbed and physically harmed by customers.
Fortunately Repine got away with scratches and marks on her face, cheeks, arms and neck. We are cooperating fully with local law enforcement authorities and their investigation.
