Divisive X-Files character returning to series revival

They were controversial additions to a series that fans were already anxious was disappearing into its own mythology, but it’ll still be good to see Reyes back and catch up with the character who, like Mulder, was a believer in all things paranormal.

Fox is bringing back another well known X-Files alum for the revival. Reyes appeared in the final two seasons of the show opposite Robert Patrick’s Agent Doggett. And now we can add Annabeth Gish to the list of returning players.

Stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return to their roles as Federal Bureau of Investigation Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully for the now untitled “X-Files ” event series, which is shooting in Vancouver.

Anderson and Duchovny are both slated to reprise their roles alongisde Mitch Pileggi returning as Walter Skinner, William B. Davis coming back as the Cigarette-Smoking Man and Bruce Harwood, Tom Braidwood and Dean Haglund reprising their as “The Lone Gunmen“.
