The father of a three-year-old DJ who recently won South Africa’s Got Talent has defended the youngster over claims that he was only pretending to mix during the TV final.
The youngest victor in the series’ history still has a few things to learn, his father said, like telling time.
He was first discovered by social media users when his family started posting videos of the toddler showing off his his talent on a mixing deck in January.
His parents also are reportedly putting the £25,000 in winnings earned by Arch Jnr into a trust fund to be used to improve his living conditions and pay for his education.
“For a three year old I’m blown away, never mind him winning the competition, the fact that he stood on stage, he did a set and finished it and clicked stop”.

Since making people lose their shit at his audition for the show earlier this year, DJ Arch Jnr has managed to beat out five other finalists with his latest super-smooth performance, which can be viewed in full below. “He has great parents and we are here to guide him”. Economic Free Fighters spokesperson Mbuyuseni Quintin Ndlozi calls the win, “truly that of talent which always trumps age and human-inspired development”.
