DL Hughley Insults Caitlyn Jenner for Winning ESPY Courage Award

“Sometimes it gets overwhelming, but with attention comes responsibility”, Caitlyn Jenner said. Jenner, who had a pretty blowout, looked more casual in a pair of skinny blue jeans and a flowing white shirt.

Last Wednesday the 65-year-old former Olympian received a standing ovation as she walked on stage to accept the award with a powerful acceptance speech calling on respect for trans people all over the world, putting the spotlight on the struggles they face. “And from that respect comes a more compassionate country, a more empathetic society and a better world for all of us”.

“If you want to call me names, make jokes, doubt my intentions, go ahead, because thereality is, I can take it. But for the thousands of kids coming to terms with who they are, theyshouldn’t have to take it”, Jenner said. “But we have a lot of work to do”.

That opinion is understandable, but then D.L. lapsed into “under the belt” territory, criticizing her appearance.

Caitlyn Jenner’s hot streak continues!

“I don’t think that would have been my choice but I’m not on the ESPYS”.

Hughley said that Arthur Ashe thrived in “a very segregated profession, he fought AIDS with dignity and honor, and Caitlyn Jenner put on a dress”.

Shortly after he made his statement, Hughley posted on Twitter a photo showing Jenner at the ESPY’s and a picture of Robin Williams dressed in his iconic role of Mrs. Doubtfire with the caption, “Somebody tell me I’m wrong #TeamDL”, Hughley stated. Like, the man looks like a woman, but the woman looks like a man?
