“The judge didn’t cite any specific example but said such a claim may arise in the future and that “timing can be a concern when conducting genetic testing”.

A judge in Carver County authorized Bremer Trust to order DNA testing of the late singer’s blood… for goal of addressing “parentage issues”.

Judge Eide already appointed Bremer Trust as the temporary administrator of Prince’s assets, which include music.

Nelson and Prince’s five half-siblings decided last week that Bremer Trust should continue acting as special administrator of the musician’s fortune, according to NBC News.

Aside from his siblings, Prince is survived by two ex-wives.

Judge Eide earlier dismissed a $1 billion claim made against Prince by a California man who said that he had an “implied” contract with Prince, making him entitled to all the artist’s musical rights.

The lawyers of “Purple Rain” singer Prince have been allowed to get samples of his blood from the authorities just in case individuals surface and claim that they are Prince’s children.

Investigation into the cause of Prince’s death is also still ongoing, and autopsy results have not yet been released. “I would say we have received between 600 and 700 calls”, Harvey Morse, who is leading the official hunt for relatives, told the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, the fate of his estate, valued as high as $300 million, is up in the air because so far no will has been found and the list of his potential heirs is growing.
