In a written statement, Clinton said, “I want to thank my longtime friend Debbie Wasserman Schultz for her leadership of the Democratic National Committee over the past five years”.

“I know that you and I together will continue to fight to make sure that people who should not have guns can not get access to them”, Wasserman Schultz said.

Sanders reiterated his sentiments this morning: “I mean there’s no question to my mind, and I think no question to any objective observer’s mind, that the DNC was supporting Hillary Clinton and was at opposition to our campaign”, Sanders said.

Republican nominee Donald Trump, meanwhile, blasted Wasserman Schultz as “overrated” and contrasted her with his party’s chairman, Reince Priebus, calling the Wisconsin Republican “the tough one and the smart one”.

Daniel Podolsky, a Stony Brook University student who helped found “Sea Wolves for Sanders” and came to Philadelphia for the convention, concurred.

Sanders supporters certainly weren’t amused.

Sanders endorsed Clinton earlier this month.

Brazile previously served as DNC’s interim chair for a short time in 2011, which, ironically involved the Democratic Vice presidential hopeful, Tim Kaine.

“If she steps out on that stage to gavel in, there are going to be thousands of people booing her”, Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager, said on MSNBC.

The staffers then seemingly joked about Wasserman Schultz’s habit of tardiness.

They vented frustration over a “rigged” party system that they said was aimed at ensuring Clinton would become the nominee. He also suggested that Clinton’s choice of running mate, Virginia Sen.

It’s unclear who will replace under pressure as chair of the party, with some Democrats floating Sen.

“The emails just proved what we believed to begin with”, Dora Bouboulis of Vermont said as she marched in a demonstration.

The provocative billionaire piled on after Sunday’s announcement.

“I appreciate that interest, and a little bit of interest from the press”, she said. The Dems Convention is cracking up and Bernie is exhausted, no energy left!

“Hillary is more of a warmonger than Trump!” yelled one woman as she passed out flyers.

“This is further evidence the Russian government is trying to influence the outcome of the election”, the Clinton campaign statement said. “But that really shows you that Florida is the most significant battleground state that will make sure that Hillary Clinton is elected president of the United States of America”.
